Transatlantic Partnership Award
Since 1987, the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany e.V. has presented the prestigious Transatlantic Partnership Award (TAPA) in recognition of the commitment of outstanding individuals and organizations, who actively contribute to the positive shaping of transatlantic relations, especially German-American economic relations. The award is presented to individuals or institutions from business, politics, science, and culture from the United States and Germany.
Transatlantic Partnership Award 2024
In 2024, a distinguished jury chaired by AmCham Germany President Simone Menne has selected Ms. Margot Friedländer and Ms. Anna Winger, American writer, producer, and photographer, as the 2024 award recipients: Margot Friedländer for her tireless commitment to the positive coexistence of people and peace between peoples; and Anna Winger, as the inspiring creator and writer of historical and contemporary stories, for her great cinematic portrayal of the important relationships on both sides of the Atlantic.
The award ceremony and presentation of the TAPA to both awardees will be held in the realm of an exclusive gala reception hosted by AmCham Germany in Berlin on the evening of September 19, 2024.
