AmCham Germany at the Munich Security Conference 2025

AmCham Germany hosts U.S.-German Congressional Business Roundtable & Transatlantic Networking Dinner as an Official Institutional Partner of the Munich Security Conference

This year, AmCham Germany was honored to contribute to the discussions at the Munich Security Conference once again as an Official Institutional Partner and provide a platform for its members to gather with influential political and business leaders from both sides of the Atlantic.

The U.S.-German Congressional Business Roundtable, jointly organized by AmCham Germany together with the U.S. Embassy Berlin and the Transatlantic Business Initiative, provided an ideal setting for top-level government and business representatives from the U.S. and Germany to discuss the most pressing issues in transatlantic relations. It brought together C-level company representatives and the U.S. Congressional delegation to facilitate an open and informal dialogue between members of Congress, Germany-based business leaders, as well as leaders of U.S. businesses with investments in Germany, on issues that are central to the transatlantic partnership, especially its economic pillar.

At the roundtable, we welcomed inputs from U.S. Chargé d’Affaires a.i. Alan Meltzer, Senator Lindsey Graham, our President Simone Menne and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Siegfried Russwurm (Transatlantic Business Initiative). In addition, we were honored to have the following guests in attendance: Jens Stoltenberg, Ambassador Andreas Michaelis, Senators Dan Sullivan, Adam Schiff, Roger Wicker, Chris Coons and Joni Ernst.

Later in the day, we hosted our Transatlantic Networking Dinner titled “Navigating the Future – Mapping Priorities for Transatlantic Cooperation in a Changing Geopolitical Landscape.” Kicking off the official side event, our General Manager Daniel Andrich emphasized that continuing and deepening U.S.-German economic cooperation must continue to be a priority.

The importance of transatlantic cooperation was echoed by Suzanne P. Clark (President of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C.) and Representative Joe Wilson as well as by high-level representatives from our event partners Benjamin Sokolowski (Vice President Government Affairs Germany & Austria, Qualcomm) and Alex Panas (Senior Partner and Global Leader of Industry Sectors, McKinsey & Company).

We would like to extend our gratitude to our speakers, members and distinguished guests for their contributions and insights at this year’s Munich Security Conference. In particular, we would like to thank the supporters of our Transatlantic Networking Dinner, without whom our official side event would not have been possible: Premium Partners McKinsey & Company and Qualcomm as well as Partners Thermo Fisher Scientific and Monroe Atlantic.
