On May 29, 2024, AmCham Germany had an honor to host to host outgoing U.S. Consul General Norman Thatcher Scharpf from the U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt at a special Farewell Reception last week. Together with our members and friends from the Rhine-Main area, we had the chance to thank the Consul General for his dedication and commitment to the transatlantic community as well as the excellent cooperation with our organization since the start of his tenure as Consul General in Frankfurt in August 2021.
In their opening remarks, both our General Manager Daniel Andrich and our Regional Chapter Chair David Knower emphasized the exceptional level of partnership, friendship and fruitful exchanges that AmCham Germany has enjoyed with U.S. Consul General Norman Thatcher Scharpf over the past three years.
We wish Consul General Norman Thatcher Scharpf all the very best as he embarks on the next chapter of his journey in Brussels, and we look forward to continuing our close cooperation with the U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt!
