On Monday, July 1, 2024, AmCham Germany's Regional Chapter Rhine-Main hosted its traditional 4th of July celebration at the Schlosshotel Kronberg near Frankfurt. David Knower and Gabriele Hässig, AmCham Germany’s Regional Chapter Chairs of Rhine-Main, welcomed more than 150 members and friends of AmCham Germany to commemorate and celebrate one of the most important days in the history of the United States.
We had the honor of hosting Jennifer Walsh, Acting Consul General at the U.S. Consulate General Frankfurt, for keynote remarks on the importance of value-based German-American relations in times of geopolitical upheaval. Our members and guests also heard remarks from our General Manager Daniel Andrich, as well as Dr. Joachim Heine, Managing Partner Frankfurt, Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, with whom we also had the pleasure of celebrating Morgan Lewis' 35th anniversary in Germany. In keeping with the evening's U.S. theme, the event featured the MSG Detachment Frankfurt of the United States Marine Corps for a special Flag Ceremony.
The event provided the opportunity to come together in transatlantic spirit and enjoy a warm summer evening in front of one of the most iconic locations in the region with fine food and relaxed conversations.
We would like to thank our sponsors and guests who made this event a memorable evening. In particular, we would like to extend our gratitude to our cooperation partner Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, represented by Joachim Dr. Heine and Dr. Christian Zschocke, and to our Silver Sponsor Wertheim Village (Value Retail), without whom our event would not have been possible.
