On May 18 the Regional Chapter Düsseldorf with its Chair Dr. Alexander Schröder-Frerkes hosted its first Insights Call with the Leader of the Free Democratic Party Christian Lindner. Lindner strongly advised the audience to take the corona pandemic as a new phase of globalization and multilateralism rather than a reason to turn our back on partnerships. He proposed that the EU should step forward with new perspectives as a role model for other countries. His motivational speech was followed by a vivid discussion among the attendees.
With nearly 350 registrations, it was yet another successful event in the series of virtual events AmCham Germany is providing its members during times of lockdown.
